Dr. Daniel Nielson is a Kansas City native and second-generation dental provider who proudly serves the Olathe community. He earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

Dr. Nielson completed a rigorous five-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency through UMKC, gaining extensive hospital training in anesthesia and surgical care. Today, he practices exclusively in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on wisdom teeth removal and dental implants. He is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and is certified to administer general anesthesia and a serving member as a past President of the Kansas Dental Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, cheering on the Jayhawks, and staying involved in the local community. He is also an aviation enthusiast who enjoys flying and spending time around airplanes whenever he has the opportunity.
