In-Office IV (Intravenous) Anesthesia allow Dr. Nielson and Dr. Isaac to perform oral surgery in our comfortable, patient-centered oral surgery center. This type of anesthesia involves medications given to the patient through a vein for deep sedation. It also provides quick sedation, total relaxation, and rapid recovery. Our highly trained staff and anesthesiologist specialists care for each patient thoroughly for the best possible surgery experience. When receiving IV anesthesia, please refrain from eating or drinking anything after midnight the day before your surgery. You will also need to rely on an adult to drive you home from the oral surgery and to be there to help your recovery as necessary.
Our in-office anesthesia is provided following and exceeding the strenuous standards of not only the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, but also the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
